Many of you are probably getting tired of reading articles by the same author. So this week we are starting something new! We have a guest writer!
We hope you enjoy her article. I have added a brief biography to the end of the article. This article is a little longer than our normal articles but I thought the topic and content merit the extra reading.
I hope this won’t be the only guest writer! I invite you to submit your articles – what do you think others would be interested in reading? Normally I try to keep articles to about 500 words – but I can be flexible!
If you don’t want to write an article would you please consider suggesting topics for future articles.
A special “Thank you” to Ileen Johnson for being our first guest writer.
I, and a few of my patrons, have a concern about the New Sunday School Lessons.
The instructions for training people who are learning about Family History does not mention anything about entering your records and research information into a “Personal” record program, like PAF, or similar programs. It takes the student directly into entering info into the new.familysearch.org. This, I feel, will contribute to really messing up the system for everyone else.
Is there a way that we as consultants, can send feedback to have lessons inserted into this Sunday School Agenda to cover the use of personal computer programs, before having the students jump into new.familysearch.org. This way, the student can be sure that the info they are entering into the New FamilySearch is as correct as they can get it.
Thank you for any input.
