I don't think we should be doing work for aunts and uncles who are not on our direct line. I have a situation where a cousin on my mother's side of the family submitted the name of Le Roy Herbert Garrett who was born in 1920 and is my Dad's brother for temple ordinance work. He was married at the time of his death which the above mentioned cousin would not have known. At the time of his death his two sisters asked his wife for permission to have his temple ordinance work done. She did not give permission because she felt he would not approve. I know the cousin who had his name submitted did not get her permission. She moved back to England and even I have lost contact with her. All of his temple ordinance work was done including his baptism and confirmation. I don't understand how that was done as he was baptized and confirmed as a child. I think we must be very careful when we submit names who were born in the 95 year time limit and be sure we get permission for the closest living relative.
